I first started out in photography in the military as a photojournalist. After that I enrolled in the School of Visual Arts where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Along with developing a career that included exhibiting and commercial projects, I have been doing weddings for over ten years. Drawing on this background, my approach to doing weddings is from a photojournalistic/fine arts point of view. When I do my weddings ten percent are formal shots of immediate family and the bridal party, and the rest are candid and spontaneous shots. What I really enjoy and what my clients always seem to respond to is catching poignant, humorous and other special moments while being unintrusive as a photographer.
